Sunday Evenings 5:30pm

our story

We're a bunch of dreamers, risk takers, and misfits, who follow Jesus, love each other, and love LA, and who've been given the opportunity to do church a little differently outside the walls. We know the church needs to look and sound different. It's not going to be easy. If you're interested in walking this journey with us, come join us for our Sunday evening gatherings at 5:30pm. We meet on the campus of the Acting Corps Theater in North Hollywood, which is next door to the Cahuenga General Store, a little neighborhood cafe that makes an awesome sandwich.

gather

We believe that a gathering is more than just a church service. It's about sharing life together. It's about making sure those who don't fit in, feel that they belong, are welcomed, and included. When we gather it's an opportunity to receive from God, to find rest, and to be restored.

share stories

We believe our stories are important and matter. We believe everyone should have an opportunity to share their story. We've forgotten the art of storytelling. We believe in God's story of redemption and that we're all called to live out that story in the world, in our communities, and with each other.

eat

God's table is big and we believe life happens around the table. It's an opportunity to be honest and real with one another and with God. It's where we remember God's redemptive grace found in Jesus. We know Jesus was always at a meal, on his way to a meal, or coming from a meal.

pray

scatter

We believe prayer needs to be honest and real. We believe prayer is more than just bowing our heads. It's a conversation with God. We believe grace and mercy are made available to us when we pray.

The word scatter is essential to everything we do as a community. We believe we're scattered by God out into the world, to not only share our own stories, but to share and live out God's story.
